Ashford Heritage Centre - Day 1

Honoured to have been asked to hand-paint a quotation from the late Séamus Heaney at the new and very fine Ashford Heritage Centre, County Wicklow. Being a fan of both Heaney and of Wicklow and its villages, I am very excited about executing this piece of lettering.

The first step was COLOUR! 
As agreed with the Project Designer and Wicklow Heritage Office, we were going with a forest green. The great lads at Woodie's DIY in Lucan mixed the paint and sampled and dried it for me. Such a great service.
